While riding is possible now, it’s not recommended. Dot and I went out for a ride to see how the trails are holding up and see what additional clearing is needed. On the plus side, the base held up. On the downside, we need more snow. Water bars are open and very wet and there’s additional spots that are wet and bare as well. In addition, there are more trees down. Mostly smaller trees
Some areas looked better
that finally gave out, but still need clearing. If you have time to get out, please get out, ride and clear what you can. Dot and I did what we could this afternoon, but there’s still more to do. It’s early in the season still, so the sooner we get things cleared up, the sooner things will get back in shape once we do get some cold and snow.
