We had about 12 or so volunteers show up yesterday to help clear the trails. We spread out to cover as much of the area as we could and all our trails should be passable now on sled and groomer.
For those that aren’t aware, volunteers don’t get paid or any other compensation other than a chance at a volunteer TMA for next season. They pay for the gas they use bring their own equipment (chainsaws..etc). They also give up their day so those that can’t (or wont) help can ride. Think about this next time you have done free time or aren’t riding because the trails need clearing, but would have ridden otherwise. These trails don’t function without riders helping to maintain them.
