We’ve had some snow the past few days and more expected Wednesday. Groomer will be out this week. Expect variable conditions, but for things to improve as we groom. As always, ride with caution.

Friday Trail Update
Was out grooming earlier this morning. Here’s some pictures. Trails are anywhere from awful to fair and maybe even good, although good would just be some short sections or the gov rd which is nearly always good. 745 Between RD10 and RD11 has a section in very rough shape. Use caution or avoid. Trail has very uneven terrain with water undermining sections of the snow. It was groomed one way today but still needs more grooming/snow to get it in better shape.
Groomer was also out to RD59 last night. Similar conditions.
We need more snow to make a big impact. Use caution on all our trails. Even if it looks groomed and seems fine, that can change quickly.

Colder morning today!
The storm we had wasn’t good for the trails at all. On the plus side we didn’t get much ice at all. We also didn’t get much of any snow at the end of the storm. Trails are mostly hard packed, with variable coverage – mostly decent except for some water bars and any other spots where water was an issue due to the rain and melting snow. We need more snow to get things back to where they were! If you ride, please ride with caution.
A section of trail on 112 North heading towards Rochester/Bethel was washed out with the river. You should be able to get by staying close to the edge of the road, but its recommended to go around. Bethel grooms this section and more snow will be needed before they will be able to groom and get it back to normal. Large chunks of ice and water/ice cover the trail.
Stay off the trails until we get back to winter temps please!
Currently raining and expected to be the case much of today with warm temps. Then turning colder with ice and snow. Please remain of the trails until cold weather returns and we have a chance to check the trails. If we get a lot of ice, expect trees to be down and lots of branches hanging into the trail.
If you are able to help clear trails this weekend after the storm passes through, please let us know. I’m sure we can use all the help we can get. I expect we’ll be out Sunday assessing things.
We’ve got snow!
More snow fell today (about 6-8″). Groomer was out last Friday and Saturday and most of our trails we’re groomed. With the new snow and riding since then, we’ll get back out there as soon as we can. Things are looking pretty good for this time of year, but as always, ride with caution. We are still early in the season and with the wind today, I expect trees could also be down. Hope to see you out there!
Trails are closed
Warm weather and rain have put an end to the season. It wasn’t the greatest season we’ve had, but it was a good season in comparison to last year. Let’s hope next year is even better!

Snow is on the way!
We expect to get enough snow to re-open our trails for riding. HOWEVER, keep in mind that no one has been on the trails in the past couple of weeks and we’ve had a lot of wind. We expect trees to be down and the trails to need clearing. If you are thinking of riding after the storm, please consider doing what you can to help clean up. This will help us get grooming sooner. We’re not going to send the groomer out until we know that the trails are clear. And ride safe, we’re going to be looking at early season conditions again with the majority of areas being back down to bare ground.

Trails update
Weather is not looking good, but we do still have a lot of snow in the mountains. Groomer has been out a couple times since Sunday trying to get things in shape after the busy weekend. I’m not sure when additional grooming will take place given this stretch of weather. Valley and other areas are likely to deteriorate so expect variable conditions.
Hopefully we get some colder weather next week and some snow more snow at some point!
By-pass trail CLOSED
The By-Pass trail to services is now closed and marked as such. Too many riders are not obeying the curfew, speed limits or staying on the trail. We are going to do what we can to come up with an alternative and/or to get this reopened. Riders need to respect the land owners and residents in the area (and all our areas) and obey posted signs and speed limits. Even in places where nothing is posted, use some common sense when riding by homes.
If you need to get gas and are coming from the West or South, you’ll need to get gas via RD15 taking 100N to 112N to RD3, then RD2 and 100S to the services trail. This is approximately 13 miles from RD8. Please plan accordingly.
